About Whitacre Glass Works
The original Whitacre Glass Works was started in the 1930's by Jack Whitacre. For over 50 years, Jack Whitacre Glass served the Tulsa area with the fine quality glass products and services. Jackson Whitacre worked at the family glass shop through school and joined full time after college in 1980. After Jack's retirement, Jackson started Group W Sales, a manufacturer's rep business handling process machinery and equipment in the glass industry throughout the southwest region. Although not officially in the installation business, Jackson's old customers continued to call him for their special projects. Early in 2007, Jackson opened Whitacre Glass Works with the hope of continuing the family tradition of fine quality and personal service. We dedicate this website and our business to the memory of Jack Whitacre.
For nearly seven decades, we have installed frameless and heavy glass shower doors, shower and tub enclosures, glass tops, table tops, mirrored walls, beveled mirrors, commercial storefront and more in some of Tulsa's finest homes and buildings. Our heavy glass shower enclosures are manufactured from the finest quality tempered safety glass with highly polished edges. All of our hinges, glass clips and handles are solid brass with finishes that will never fade or wear off. Single sided, back-to-back towel bars and door handles for shower doors are available in a variety of finishes. Some of the most popular finishes include brass, chrome, brushed nickel, oil rubbed bronze, antique bronze, and more. We believe your satisfaction is a priority.
